Following on from the success of recent Spring Specialist Plant Fairs, we have decided to hold an autumn event. Around 20 of some of the best small specialist nurseries have been invited to attend the event and will be offering a tantalising array of garden plants, including rare, new and unusual varieties not normally offered at garden centres. The 30 acre gardens contain a huge range of rare plants that have been collected and planted by successive generations of the Berkeley family. September is traditionally the best month for planting. The soil is warm and plants are still in active growth which gives them time to settle in before the onset of winter. Guided garden tours, garden advice, refreshments. http://www.plantfair.co.uk
