I'm collecting 15 bags from a Homebase close to my nearest 'The Range' store so will also check for £9.99 polytunnels

If anybody's reserving to collect and is wondering how many will fit in your car, the dimensions of 30L bags are 430 x 580 x 75mm.

Just missed getting some, I reserved 12 bags for collection but they rang me within half an hour to say they didn't actually have any but if I call into the store I could order some. Well I called in but they weren't able to order any - it was worth a try as it was on my way home from work. It's good stuff Jacks Magic, I bought 10 bags for £2.43 in the earlier sale at Homebase and I'm really impressed by it.

I got 10 bags in the back of my Mini last time with the rear seats down, I reckon I could squeeze in 12.

I bought at that price last month and used a £5 off £20 voucher from the Telegraph to get it for £1.83/bag plus got extra points using till voucher from when I got the free bird food also using voucher from paper. Seemed good quality and worth getting more at an even cheaper price.

Come to think of it mine had an extra 15% off, so they were £2.06/bag. I've been using it for seed sowing and potting on.

Think I'll stick with GroSure Seed & Potting compost [1] for fine seeds, but the JM seems fine for larger seeds and potting on.

[1] That seed compost is £2.49 for 20L at Homebase, cheapest anywhere ATM, even cheaper as part of a £35 shop to get £5 off.

It came 1st in the 2015 Which compost trial, but it does have a very high peat content in case anybody wants to avoid buying it for that reason. Which paid 12.5p/L for it, not 5p/L reduced to clear, or even 1.5p/L if bought singly using the 200 points/£1's worth of Nectar Points vouchers.
