    This stuff is a menace - comes up every year and no amount of Roundup will kill it off.

    Can't help with the bulbs but your constant "companion" is Mare's Tail. It's been around for about the same time as The Dinosaurs so is a tough b.....You might have success in getting rid of it by crushing the stems a bit and then spray with strong Roundup with a little washing up liquid added (that makes the weedkiller stick to the plant better). Don't bother even attempting to dig it up, you'd reach Australia before you found the end of these roots!

      The bulbs look like one of the forms of Brodiaea (Tritelia) laxa.
