    Tried google but not sure what exactly to search for ha! Any helps appreciated as its randomly part of a hedge and only popped up this year.

    One of the so called Fireweeds. Possibly Chamaenerion angustifolium also known as Willowherb

      Could be Rosebay Willow-herb as said or maybe Codlings and cream but they are a big family.. would be good to see the tops of the plant as well..

        Soo should I destroy it or let it go? It seems to have grown like crazy and dont fancy adding to my knotweed, mares tail and other such delights!

        Rosebay willowherb is one of my favourite weeds/ wildflowers but not in my garden :nonofinger:
        I have it popping up everywhere, luckily it's easily pulled up :biggrin:
        Seeing huge swathes of it along country roads is amazing though :spinning:

            Masses of willowherb, hedgerows full of ripening fruit and fields going on forever :wub2:

            Have to say, I've got ' wild brambles ' in my garden aswell though :dunno:
            Don't want them in the garden either but......
