I don't know about bronchitis as I've never had it, but if you're full of snot and grot and it won't shift I run the hottest bath possible with at least half a bottle of Dettol in it. Soak in the bath for at least 30 minutes topping the water up to keep it hot. Go straight to bed after and sweat it out.

I agree with Val on that one Longk! The Dettol would strip my skin.....and I haven't got a bath, just a shower.

Lemsip does the same without the torture @Val.. :)

A jar of Vicks does the same but leaves you all oily afterwards :heehee:

I have a very sensitive skin Longk, I can't cuddle sheep either, their wool makes me blister.

Edit: Can't do the Vicks either.

I have absolutely no notion for anything alcoholic - - that in itself is almost grounds for hospitalisation for me [emoji3]

I have been making hot toddy's, whiskey, lemon juice, honey and hot water, I take this to bed with me and sip it, it is absolutely delicious and really helps you sleep, also helps to stop the coughing.
