It's the delivery charge that's expensive - £7.95. But for just over £10 for blooms like this, it's worth it

@ARMANDII would you just dispose of the peony now, or would you keep it and see if it grows? One of the main stems is still growing fine and the stems to the leaves that have dried up still look healthy.

I would definitely keep it, Kazza, and if you can nurse it back to health that will be something you can pat yourself on the back for, and you will have a "free" Peonie due to your TLC.:snorky:

The vast majority are fruit - Apples, figs, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, pear and some herbs. Others are flowers that look nice in a pot on the patio - Brugmansia, Gazalia, Fleabane and a Marguerite and not to forget the Geranium in the cup :snorky:

I agree @KFF The good thing about pots is that you can put them wherever you want to. And when you get fed up with them in one place you can move them somewhere else.

@ARMANDII the sad peony sorbet did survive in the end, but with a couple of broken stems. This was the free one :snorky:

A couple of broken stems are not a problem, kazza:dunno: A Peony is a long lived Hardy Perrenial and so is a long term plant in anyone's garden. Give it some TLC and it will outlast you!!!:heehee:
