Acer not growing

    hi, I have an acer Ina pot. I’ve had it 3 years and it blooms each year but never grows. New leaves seem to die before they can flourish. Any ideas?

    Looks to me like the new growth is being killed off by cold winds.
    I think that is often a problem with Acers, they like a sheltered position away from hot sun in summer and winds when the new foliage is forming in spring.
