          I am lucky I suppose - I've had and/or been around dogs for circa 40 years, so am comfortable with training and so on, which is really handy as there is no chance of puppy classes at any point in the near future.

          Not a bad night last night - he has learned that he doesn't get up onto our bed when the humans are in it which is good, but he had a wee accident and left us a message on the floor - - maybe he couldn't see his mat though, as this was the first night with no nightlight on for him.

          We did a little bit of lead walking this morning, and that went well, but he still doesn't like having a slip-lead put on and to be honest I am not a fan of them or leads connected to his collar, so tomorrow we start playing with the harness.

          Currently, he has found and pinched my fleecy blanket on the sofa.....

            Glad bonfire night went without a hitch...My big daft Golden (getting on for 11yrs old) had to go sit outside and watch them..never flinched,loves them but he's the first Golden I've had that by the time they reach about 7 years old have usually been in a terrible state:sad:...but thankfully all was well with Archibald.:wub2:

            You've got a gorgeous little chap there,just adorable:wub2:

                            I have only just found this thread but what an enjoyable read from the start @Fat Controller .
                            He is an adorable wee squidgy. I think he will need bigger boots before long - judging by the size of his feet, but I reckon they will grow to match the size of his heart,
