Aerating a lawn

    Homebase do a hollow tine aerator for £40. It does get clogged up but you can unblock it with a screw driver. Funnily enough its when it is damp it clogs up for me as the soil is a sticky clay mess. Hence the need to aerate.

      I have an electric scarifier and only used it once in the six or seven years I've owned it. I don't even know if it still works, time to find out I think.
