I planted alium bulbs three weeks ago. Here they are now 6" high. Is this right?

    [IMG] Hi Rich,
I think allot of bulbs have got a little confused this year. I have some of my well established daff bulbs almost ready to flower   I don't know why this is & so far nobody has come up with an answer as to why either. I just hope they will survive their early call. :(

Depends on what the alliums are. Many of them are almost evergreen and many of them are winter growing. They produce their leaves over winter and flower in Spring/early summer as the leaves die off.

I don't even know what they are. My wife presented me with a bag and said "They're Alliums".

"What type are they? What are they like?"

    "Alliums, they're really pretty".

So that's it, I know no more about them.
