All this rain

    Not had as much rain here as down south , but it has been very wet. Yesterday in between the driving showers , I decided to measure how many square metres my watering can water . This is to calibrate it for lawn feeding ( I know very anorak, but I have had it for 7 years !) I filled the can ( 9 litres ) and watered and measured an area of lawn, this was during a light shower. I did get a few strange looks from the neighbours :biggrin:

          We have had gale force winds every other day since before Christmas, last night was bad and after a calm afternoon it is now picking up again and heavy showers nearly every day. I can also see this going right through to the end of month.:frown:

          Oddly enough, towards the end of the summer, I said to Mrs C that I thought it would be a wet and wild winter - goodness knows how I arrived at that conclusion, but it seems I was right
