Did you take the cuttings yourself?

    Or bought in?

I've only ever bought in potted alstromeria. I recall being told to hardly pick in their first year to help the plant establish.

Hi @Laura39 I'd also be interested in finding out about the cuttings, as I thought that alstromeria were like lilies and didn't take. Certainly they seem to be a bit miffy when first turned out of pots and take a while to establish their roots. I would have thought that picking this year would be a bit hard on such a new plant. Any photos please?
