Cut back the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis by one third this morning. It is the first time I have done this so was cringing as I cut. Also cut back the lower branches of the Iochroma above them to let the sun in, but J will have to do the top.

I will close out January with just a couple of pics.

Spent just over an hour on the Front of House Patio cutting the Hibiscus rosa-sinensis by one third. Some had buds just ready to open so left those stems till the weekend. Also cut the lower branches on the Iochroma to let the sun through, but J will have to do the top. [IMG]

I cleared the weeds from the pots on the raised Patios out front and cut the plants/shrubs back in them.

I bought my Citrus paradisi, Ruby Red Grapefruit in 2005 . We had it in a pot and it had flowers in 2007 but no fruit. We then put it in the ground but it has not done much ... until now and we discovered flower buds, hundreds of them ...

I seem to have missed a lot of your posts @Victoria, I'm sorry about that but I haven't been as active as usual on here for a while. I've caught up now, and it was nice to see lots of photos at the same time. You had a colourful February, and March is starting off with a sunny yellow Brugmansia, very nice
