Has anyone had any noisy annoying neighbours?

We have Polish people next door who obviously have shift patterns of early hours, so they sleep during the day and play music til about 7am... gone on for 6 months now.

Anyone have advice? Salford council are useless.

When you go out in the morning put your loudspeakers up against the wall & turn everything up to 11. See how they like disturbed sleep.

The neighbours on the other side would complain to us

Even talk of the house being sold.. it's that bad.

That could be awkward, you have to declare if you've got problems with neighbours when you sell the place.

Do you know if they are renting? Might be able to take it up with their landlord.

          Yeah they're renting.

Since May I've phoned/text him often, but since June he hasn't replied to a single text.

I don't know his name or address either and he never visits the property.

Do you know if the council would disclose such information?

I don't think they would. That's a bit of a non starter then.

I suppose you've tried talking direct to them already.

Me & my dad went round, probably June at about 1am when they were having a party (I know they say don't go round when it's happening) but we're both 6'2 and I actually have my SIA badge so I'm no pushover (not a violent type, either). They were utterly shocked we had asked them to turn off their music.

I still like to text the landlord saying he's a disgrace for what he's doing to my parents, after they've lived here for nearly 30 years.

As I was typing out all the dates and times for the council, I noticed they have benders going from about 6pm on a Friday night until the early hours of Monday morning..

Keep the pressure on - each occurrence go round and bang on the door and tell them they were disturbing you. Do this a couple of hours after as well.
Police won;t do anything, enviro health can be helpful occasionally but the council... well they're an unloved bunch for a reason.
Is it privately rented direct to the landlord or through an agency? (Was there an estate agent board outside before they moved in?) Should be able to get the landlord address from the land registry

There's weed we can smell from the garden, but it's a lad who lives 2 doors up the opposite way. But I'm not having it that they only drink all the time.. drugs must be involved.

and Loofah, the landlord bought the house about 5 years ago when our neighbour had died. He's so far rented it out to complete and utter scum. One of them (not as bad as the Polish) used to have screaming kids and then before that, the man climbed through our window! Actually stole things... he knew my sister's boyfriend (didn't know he was my sister's boyfriend at the time) and he sharply stopped living there a few days later. The police never convicted him or anyone for that matter, but he pressed down our handle when we were ringing the police just before he got into his car..

Main thing is my dad going to work. Postman so gets up at half 4 and sometimes they're out on the front pi**ed up.
