Sal - interesting about the age.

When I said I had no idea about how to overwinter them - what I really meant was I had no idea where to overwinter so many. I must have had 20 or more last winter - but will have even more this winter - and they will be bigger.

I remember visiting the Tropical Oasis at Stapeley in Cheshire a few years ago (its closed now :frown: ), they had a huge Brug in there, it was about 15ft tall and the trunk was very woody and more like a tree trunk at a good 8 inches across at the base, don't how old that would have been???

Recently I`ve join an Italian gardener forum , not much of interest as it`s hard for them to understand how hardy is to grow plants over here , but seen lots of new variety and impressive outdoor plants.....
look at this triple bloom brug.
occasionally even a forth bloom at 1 foot long .
another strange thing is italian are mad about passiflora seen some on the forum unreal.
look at this one , passiflora panda apparently a commun over there but never seen one before.

must be because it is a "passion" flower.
Other than that, I find it a quite alien flower, although well designed.

So far so good, I've had an email apologising for not sending me a notification within 48hrs of ordering (which they normally do but they'd been away for a couple of days) and saying that my order has now been posted and should arrive within 2 days....can't wait :dancy:

          Are the links still working?
I keep getting a 404 message saying page not found.

I ordered 5 different Brugs. I have just had an e-mail acknowledging my order but saying unfortunately they can't send all 5 now, but will send them together in about 3 weeks time. That's fine by me.

Either a good manual system, or an impressive automated one!

I can remember in the days of Daisy Wheel printers (back in the '70s) being asked by a very old fashioned law client to cause the printer to make random "sloppy typist" mistakes - over-type an "i" with an "l", that type of thing - so that his clients wouldn't know that he had computerised!

Well my order of 4 fuchsias arrived today (5 days after placing the order), very well packaged and good healthy rooted cuttings too, one of which was much larger than I expected too...

              The parcel :dancy:
