      I was referring to the frame in the photo of the bloke. The one with the pictures of wine. :dbgrtmb:

      That's because they hadn't even noticed that there were women with nude backs. They would have been looking elsewhere. ;) :snork:

        OK, men if the backs were showing a lot that means the boobs not so much. So guess most painters are bottock men. but there were boobs in some, mostly small type. Anyway, only one nude male and it was hardly noticeable. (no pun )

        To me, they look quite amateurish in technique and subject (the way that the background blends with the subject, the meaning of a bus and clothes on some unidentified surface...it is too detailed to be an impressionist, but at the same time it does not really communicate a message. Not to mention if the painting is valuable, the frame would not be looking too cheap.

        But definitely, whoever painted it, spent a few valuable hours on it.
