    It would be interesting to investigate this feeling of yours a bit further.
    But one thing I can tell you by sure.
    If you are a devoted daughter and you would move considerably away from your dad which is 80, that would be very hard for him to take.

    Only you, and your other half, can make the decision Lyn ... I've always gone where life has taken me and, cruel that it may be, where I should be. I've known too many people who have "lost" their living lives along the way.

    Likewise Lyn, we have thought about it but at the moment while my mother (83) is still around I wouldn't consider it (unlike my brother). Everywhere we think of has pros and cons.
    I guess I haven't visited enough places yet to have a favourite. [​IMG]
