    The leaves are not right for Oleander ... it looks like the one in the picture has veins like Loquat leaves whereas Oleander are smooth.

    Wouldn't have thought Oleanders grew that big and be that old in Northern England ... assuming it is near the OP.

    @clum111 where is the plant located please?

        Well, I've managed to get a better photo and yeah its totally different from what he told me;/ When I saw it I said its a rhododendron!!!
