Now that the snow has just about melted I got out to my local nursery today and picked up 10 two year old asparagus crowns (well, I had to, they were a bargain!). Never grown it before as never really had the space; anybody any tips or advice? I know there will be loads on the internet but I always find hands on practical advice to be more useful. Thanks in anticipation.

Never grown it to eat but if you let it grow it has rally nice fine feathery foliage which is good for flower arranging and birds love the berries in the winter.
