the wife and i went to see the latest 3D film ,AVATAR it was a fantastic film. excellent on technical level, not a fantastic piece of storytelling, but the special effects
were fantastic. thoroughly recommend a viewing. only downside "the cinema is that expensive now". we were £20 for entrance. a gin and tonic and a bottle of becks cost around £8.00.we had a quick meal before the movie ,that was £30 !!

THANK GOD I'VE GOT A BUS PASS :old::old: MUSIC..

Hi Music, we went to see it and we both thought it was brilliant-as you say the special effects are amazing!
:hehe: We went on "Orange Wednesday" so we only paid for one ticket and when I am not dieting we go for pizza with the same offer. Cheap night out :hehe:

Hi Jazmine. we dont have an " orange wednesday" up here in scotland. i have heard they do 1/2 price on a tuesday afternoon on selected films.:(.as for the pizza we have an offer ( buy 2 pay for 2 !!). it could be the cinema company's think because we have our own parliament in scotland!

Hi Roders it is the only way (at the present moment ,to see the special 3D effects ) is at the cinema . as i said before, it is worth a viewing . i seen 3D in the early years and there is no comparison with the early 3D and the present 3D. allegedly
there are (3D) televisions going on sale ,next year ,cost £2000-£2500 .i think i will wait till they have more 3D programmes before i commit myself to purchasing one of these expensive models  happy viewing , music

Oh that's a pity Music, it makes for a cheap night out :hehe:
I agree the 3D is the only way to view the film - it was amazing.

when i got the aforementioned DVD, i thought (PUT ON YOUR 3D GLASSES) to get the 3D EFFECT,
it did not work?? (SILLY AR**). if life was so simple. music..
