Bikes nearly always go through red lights, obviously this bloke forgot about the barrier.

I love how the barrier seems to detect its bust and just changes back to green, and the second car seems to hesitate as though expecting the barrier to come down.

I suspect health and safety will now say that the orange railing on the right should have been removed and a pedestrian walkway put there in order for bikes to mount the pavement and so avoid the red light and barrier.

Personally I'd like to see a barrier like that at every set of traffic lights.:snork:

            only joking.

After having to endure a weekend of road closures and bully-boy tactics by marshals for the Prudential Surrey Classic 100 Cycle Race, that really did make me smile.

It used to be the minority of cyclists that were lycra-clad loons looking for a fight - sadly, it is now the majority.
