Sorry one more quick question. It says I should dig in some well rotted manure or multi purpose compost into the soil. I wanted to do well rotted manure but when I go to the garden centres they seem have farmyard manure. Is this the same? Or should I just stick with multi purpose compost?

Unless the soil is absolute rubbish I'd not bother, just some fish blood and bone fertiliser would work.
As you are planting mixed hedgerow plants they should be able to deal with pretty much anything, within reason.

Don't forget to water them in and they will need watering over the summer.
