Bare root hedging

    Thanks everyone for the replies. I went out and watered them yesterday (took a while). One strip were planted last Thursday and Friday but the second strip didn't go on in until Monday just gone. So some have been in the ground 9 days and some 4 days. Looking at the ones from Thursday and Friday the look like a lot of the buds have started to to open. Is this good? I have recently read you're suppose to prune them when they are first planted to help it bush out rather than just grow upwards but I didn't know this so haven't is this going to cause problems later on? Also I will try and get pictures. I tried videos but the video is too long

    you can always prune next winter. theyll have time to get established this year anyway
