Does it have any particular name? I've tried searching the websites of various local companies and am only finding stone chippings. What should I be searching for please?

Ok, I found some. If the area I wish to cover with bark is 20ft square... how much bark would I need? I haven't a clue about this!!

Try contacting local tree surgeons as they often have a problem disposing of woodchip and may give you a free load or at least sell you a load quite cheap

As Lovage says contact a couple of local tree surgeons as they always have wood chips & will deliver...
