    What could be nicer than a beetroot ( pickled ) , cheese (mature Cheddar , Lancashire or Wenslydale ) and spring onion sandwich :dbgrtmb:
    Unpickled beetroot does not make my top twenty foods ( actually does not make my top 100 ! )

    Pickled beetroot ,yes please love it.Also beetroot steaks roasted (boiled beetroot,them cut into steaks coated in breadcrumbs ,ooooooooo.
    Beetroot also makes a very good red wine with ginger.
