@Mike Allen ,..hi Mike,..that tune is called 'Illumination' by a group named 'Secret Garden'.

They have a good few tunes as pleasing on the ear as 'Illumination.

    Adagio
    Appassionata
    Silent Wings
    Sometimes When It Rains
    Silence Speaks
    Poeme
    Lament For A Frozen Flower
    Passacaglia

    Just mentioned a few.

Well worth checking them out on YouTube for good listening,..

Not to be confused with several tunes named,.. 'Secret Garden' by many groups and tunes from the film 'Secret Garden'.

Many thanks Philip. Just had a listen on you tube. I have a wide liking to music. Perhaps depending upon my mood. Matter of opinion I suspect but. Much of todays music is promoted by scantily clad folk. Sorry if I'm out for music. I prefer to listen. Thanks again my friend. Mike.

@Mike Allen ,..music can be very uplifting or relaxing,..i tend to be a tad hyper active so its relaxing music i listen to,.. it stops me from getting off the chair to do something else when there is really no need,..its really a case of idle hands.

My dear friend how true. Times like this. I find myself apologising to my friends, including forum friends.
In the realms of music. I have a wide range. Much dependant upon my mood at the time. Those everlasting Glen Millar recodings. Then many of the dance bands of yesteryear. Military marches. Get up and go. The Royal Marines here are my No.! I tend to favour the Shadows. At present. I tend to avoid many vocals, as tyhere is such a similarity and those gut, cat scrauling renditions. Perhaps in a couple of years time. Todays yuck may be tops.

They sow Wild Flowers all over the place and maintain the canal banks flowers.

Swans are so beautiful. Here is a painting I did of a black one I photographed in the Azores and a white one @wiseowl photographed in Kent when I first started painting in 2007 so very amateurish.

@Victoria ,..very nice,..i like the contrast in colour between the two of them,..not as amateurish as you think,..were it hung up at an art exhibition you would get a surprise,..meaning it would sell,..do you still paint?,..there are lots of fantastic houses and blooms to capture in Portugal.

We are having more rain than the river can hold just now,..i will post some images of the before and after at another time,..some images today are of the Hedgehogs,..before they went into hibernation.

In order to capture these images i would slide open the glass back door,..reach my arm out with camera in hand,..they didn't show any sign of being scared,..even with the flash,..food was topmost in mind i would guess.

Morning Philip. Thank you for your kind comments. I have had my paintings on display at three locations here and have sold quite a few. I have also done commissions. I stopped painting a couple of years ago for personal reasons but am contemplating starting back up again ... I have the canvases and paints.

Here is my website ... VictoriArt

Oh, such lovely chubby hedgehogs. I have only seen a couple here, both sadly squooshed on the road. And what a cheeky little turtle ... I have always fancied one (but have no pond) or a tortoise. You really live in a magical place.
