I can remember walking over that type of grid when barefoot and it can be very uncomfortable and the narrow fins of the grid "cut" into the feet:hate-shocked:, so Foxy is trying to avoid walking on them as much as she can:dunno:

Ouch i can imagine walking barefooted,..it would be like a trainee 'Facquir',..before acquiring the ability to stretch out naked on a bed of protruding nails and not feeling the jabs :)

@Victoria ,..thanks Victoria,..the images are not the best as i am using my reserve camera,..my usual one is a Canon SX610 HS,..it crashed on me twice before but i managed to fix it,..this time i think its gone walkabout,..starting to use my reserve which is a Sony Cybershot DSC W55,..a far better camera,..once i get used to the settings :wallbanging:

A big change in parts of the meadows today is the blooms from the Great Marsh Bedstraw,..its much whiter than the Meadowsweet 'Goats Beard'.

Great Marsh Bedstraw 'Galium palustre ssp elongated',..has a scent like Vanilla.

For most of the past eight months i was taking images of this side of the river,..from the opposite side,..which is the Park.

There is a beach nearby, the type where you drive down a dusty track and then walk the boardwalk to the beach bar, that smells of curry. I believe the mounds in the sand are Helichrysum italicum. I prefer Orange Blossom. I have planted some Mirabilis 'Marbles Mix' and it says it smells like Orange Blossom ... but I will know for sure!

Victoria that Mirabilis 'Marbles Mix' is something that appeals to me,..pretty soon its likes will be able to thrive here seeing the weather is getting warmer each season.

I used to have that Helichrysum italicum Curry Bush growing in my garden up to just over 2 years ago,..alas it got too big and had to go,..that's it at the far left side of the path below in 2017.

Yes, that looks like it ... it just grows on the beach sand here.

What a lovely little jungle of beauty ... and there's that gorgeous Fucshia-like plant I can't remember the name of. :rolleyespink:

Victoria,.. its amazing me coaxing it to grow and thrive and you having it growing on the beach sand :)

Ah yes that's the Phygelius Cape Fuchsia 'Funfare Orange',..i keep it because of the elongated blooms.
