Scratching my head of late in bewilderment,..the river has dropped down to last July levels?,..
      from its Autumn/Winter level

Soooo the explanation given,..in order to build a water barrier between the road and river the water had to be dropped to allow this,..so still scratching my head,..why not drop the water level down every year to save building a water barrier .

I only had a small camera with very little zoom so i carefully approached the Cormorant on the jetty,..i was content with the distance in the last image so as not to disturb his relaxing period,..not forgetting the Ducks.

Returned after being away on a work project in Galway Bay,..wearing a mask most of the time but not because of the Virus,..nope i was using a Sander on a wooden boat,..hard on the arms when working for a few hours but the rewards were worth it,..also purchased a nice car which is dog friendly,..meaning enough space in the back for a small dog.

I try to go for a walk every day around this village where I live, and I thought I'd show some photos I took on a recent sunny afternoon ...

Philip. I wondered what you were up to.

Neat car, I like black but not suitable here.
Poor Foxy Molly, but she looks so cute. Hope Shadow (?) was okay too,
            :doggieshmooze: :cat-kittyandsmiley:

Lovely views as always. Good to have you back.

@Michael Hewett Thank you for sharing your wander with us ... but being Welsh I am fond of the country.

Thank you @Victoria I'm glad you enjoyed my photos, and how interesting to know that you are Welsh.
What mongrells we all are lol ! :yikes: I count myself as Welsh but I am really a mixture of Welsh and English (Devon and Lancashire).

@Victoria ,..ah yes a work related absence,..with dog in tow :).

A black car not suitable there,..i presume heat attraction,..i couldn't resist taking it after i checked the booth of course and Foxy Moly looked very comfortable back there.

No fireworks to be heard tonight so we are having a stress free night as seen below.

Let me put it this way, if I was ever to have a Dog again I would choose a Mongrel as they, to me, are the ones with the most down to earth character.:love30::thumbsup: Plus, I'm led to believe, that there is a touch of Irish Kelly in me somewhere.:heehee:
