@Victoria ,..fingers crossed for your rain wishing,..i have to check the clouds before venturing out on the doggy walk,..its flat enough here to see the changes well in advance most of the time,..however we get very sudden changes as well.

There are only a few seconds between some of the images below,..and certainly no more than 60 seconds at the most.

After gale force winds last weekend my own trees are now naked. No more raking to be done thank goodness!

My previous dog to Foxy Molly was Molly The Springer,..she had so many different expressions she would make one laugh,..you saying no more raking to be done thank goodness,..reminded me of the expression she had in the first image below,..bewilderment,..Duh where did all those come from?.

I can understand the look of bewilderment on Molly's face. Probably very similar to mine when I go out to start raking the leaves.

 

Drove approx 5 mins to a short distance north of Town yesterday to visit Lough Ree and have a doggy walk along the shore of Hodson Bay,..must go back another day.

The lake runs into the River Shannon where most of my images come from,..its approx 12 mile wide and 17 mile long.

 

Lovely to see a bit further afield Philip.

 

Lol,.. i think everyone knows my local area very well by now,..so the change will help,..oh i am wandering through your Thread just now,..such a lot of hard decisions and even harder work,..looking good when all the stumps are up and damaged trees removed,..well done and a beautiful location as well

 

It's a lovely area wherever you take your walk.

There's a lot more to add to the thread as I've been lax in updating it, too much on my 'to do' list. Thank you for your kind words. I had said early on in the thread that our location this time was more important than the roof over our heads, that still stands. Sitting on the back door step looking at the view on one of those rare good days is such a bonus.

 

I can feel your joy and contentment over your location,..i can almost see you sitting on the back door step issuing a sigh of happiness
