Nasty medications here as well,..its akin to The Domino Effect,..one thing causes another then it causes another........imagine starting with just back pain ended up with a heart attack all down to medication,..still apart from all that i consider myself fit :old: :)

I will take your advise on the Calcium for sure

Thanks Upsydaisy,..i just could not believe the relief doctor was prepared to prescribe the medication that was no longer working and he could see from my incident of last year that it was a repeat now,.. but was not taking into consideration last years outcome,..a heart attack,..i guess alarm bells rang in the surgery when i persisted and got help elsewhere and mentioned the report to the Medical Board.

Regarding all the gastric meds, Omazeprole works well for me, it’s a magic pill!

That sounds awful @glengarry23 I hope your new medication will continue to work for you.

I've put on about a stone, all clothes getting tighter now, but I can't walk far because my knees are too painful. Sometimes I can hardly get down the garden. I will have to stop eating chocolate !
I was just over 10 stone but now over 11 stone, the weight started going on when Beryl (deceased partner) became disabled and I couldn't go out and leave her on her own.
I also have a hiatus hernia and that causes reflux too I believe.

That water has gone down a lot. Lovely view of your town, it looks an interesting place.

Thanks Oakapple,..its an old town and of course we have the river on all sides so water is something we face all the time,..not forgetting the 200 days of rain a year :rain:

Ah so another member using the magic pill,..its great to eliminate all that pain and discomfort we would have to endure :hapydancsmil:

@Michael Hewett ,..everything seems to have to returned to normal at last for me,..do get something for that reflux seeing it can be eliminated,..you will be a new man.

Sorry to read about the loss of your partner Beryl,..she would be a big void in your life.

I dont use sugar but get a longing for chocolate and can not resist the occasional bar,..luckily i only head off to the supermarket every 14 days so resisting to the temptation isnt very often.

Yep the water has dropped to almost our summer level,..meaning more land to walk about,..what the town looks like gives some idea below.

Just to add on the Reflux trauma, a spoon of Bicarbonate of Soda on water helps tremendously or a Ginger Tea with honey. I know all the tricks without drugs! :heehee:
