I love wild flowers. The first one reminds me of Calendula but not sure if I'm right.
2nd one I think is Anthemis (it looks like mine)
          3rd one is a Poppy

Cute little Roxy, shame she was alone for all those hours but you did a very kind deed in looking after her :doggieshmooze::imphrt::pathd:

There you have it,..the only wild flower i knew was the Poppy :dunno:.

When i head into the Town Park of course i always end up at the very end,..The Point,..as it juts out into the countryside,..the river has started to rise and will do so quickly as all rain from the north comes our way down river,..its always interesting to see just how quick it will rise and how high,..i will post as it rises.

Lovely to walk in the park @glengarry23. I hope the floods won't affect the town but there seems to be lots of room for the water to spread out across those fields.

Do any people live there Philip? Not that I desire to see any! When we go an our Sunday afternoon drives in the hinterlands we rarely see anyone. People think of Algarve as beaches but there is a beautiful diverse world beyond.

Thanks Michael,..the town does get flooded but less and less each year seeing land was raised around the town plus water barriers,..i am way above water level,..ah yes the park is a nice area and juts out into the midlands,..walking around that park and one other river walk is exactly 5.51 miles,..according to my Fitbit :old:

Within a space of four days i spotted someone else out walking just ahead of me,..almost in the same spot each time,..somehow i liked the image of that person fading away into the trees ahead of me,..it reminded me of the trees in County Antrim,..named 'The Dark Hedges',..used as part of the series 'Game Of Thrones'.

THE DARK HEDGES - Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust CCGHT

What reminded me is below,..one can hardly see this person.

Wow, that was informative! It is very spooky but I am okay with soooky! What is that town? I see a couple of nice cruisers. Ireland is truly magical and we both agree it is a shame we have never seen it. Well, Jim has been to Dublin a few times on business, and Belfast, but that doesn't count ... he only remembers the Guiness!

Hi Victoria,..apart from spooky,.. i thought you would like the trees,..where the cruisers are in my images is Athlone Town,..there are four marinas within a mile,..meaning a lot of boat owners to which i no longer am one,..got rid of my last boat earlier in the year.

I did like this boat as one person could manage it,..everything was at hand to navigate and even raise the engine when heading into shallow water.

You might have spotted cruisers in the link to The Dark Hedges of Antrim as its a costal area,..where the Giants Causeway is also located,..plus where the Bushmills Whiskey is made,..if my memory is correct the coast was where 12 ships of the Spanish Armada were sailing past and were sunk on the rocky coast,..they were intending to come around that coast then across the north coast to attack England none made it,..one wreck was found on the Donegal Coast another on the Antrim coast,..the latter was named 'The Girona',..lots of gold found on the wreck.

So Jim only remembers the Dark Stuff,..lovely drink if its drawn properly :ccheers:
