          Wiseoldowl , that is a nice grafting but nothing more , look how to chance a color to a rose without using the computer.

          funny but nothing more.

          The tri coloured standard rose has nothing to do with grafting it is simply three different roses twisted round each other and I already have knowledge of how to change a roses colour ,so I will give the video a miss,there are many different methods that is just one of them:cool:

            Wow even better that I though , roses are amazing plants and I really love them in other peoples garden :dbgrtmb:.

            Wiseoldowl , you look like an expert in roses , have you ever attempted a rose bonsai ?

            I know I start to talking about the blue rose and really curious if a rose expert like you would ever buy a blue roses ...or will always consider a lab monster?

              Good evening Sal I wouldn't say I am a rose expert, I just love roses and when you tend to work with and grow Roses for many years you can't help but pick up a lot of knowledge about them,I really don't know much about any other plant, that's why I am always asking questions on this wonderful Forum:)
              As for Rose bonsai you could write what I know about them on the back of a postage stamp,I could never cut roses and have them inside,I think roses that I have grown should stay in the garden,and Bonsai would have to be inside,just my personal opinion :)

                I brought a blue rose over here from the UK, Rhapsody in Blue, an award winner I believe, but it was not blue but purple ... here it is with my Oranges & Lemons (my avatar) but it died for some unknown reason ...

                        Good morning Sal its a pleasure to meet you as well,Roses are very special to me and hold special happy and sad memories for me,I can understand when you say a sad smile,:)
                        I have to say that it is an impossible question to answer for me:scratch:
                        If one comes close its got to be the Peace rose the father and mother of all to days Roses,and then there is the Ena Harkness Rose which my dad loved and used to grow by the hundreds (mostly Standards and floribunda's),but I have to say my favourite rose changes from day to day depending on my thought,time and perception;)
                        The lily has a smooth stalk,
                        Will never hurt your hand;
                        But the rose upon her brier
                        Is lady of the land.
                        There's sweetness in an apple tree,
                        And profit in the corn;
                        But lady of all beauty
                        Is a rose upon a thorn.
                        When with moss and honey
                        She tips her bending brier,
                        And half unfolds her glowing heart,
                        She sets the world on fire.
