I'm new to Bonsai so need some advice. I have just received seeds of Chinese Juniper and also pink Wisteria which I want to try bonsai-ing. Question is this: - can I start them off now (do I understand correctly that I first need to stratify seeds in fridge for 6 weeks??) or, being November when they have stratified, would it be better to wait till next spring?? I hope I can start them now but need to know if this is the right thing to do. Thanks.

Not really into bonsai, but my thoughts are waiting till next spring would be best.

I'd stratify them naturally over the winter, ie. pot up and put in a cold greenhouse or porch, keep the pots damp but not over wet, they will then germinate naturally next spring as the temperature rises.
Growth will be much better with the days getting longer, rather than now, with them getting shorter.

You might actually struggle a bit to get them through the winter if they germinated now.
