I suppose there's always the possibility that whatever was underneath was removed because it contained a swastika?


P.S. I've got something with a swastika on, a German WW2 medal looted from a casualty and given to me when a child. It was a memory of the past, but probably now time to dispose of destroy it to avoid the possibility of some nutter getting hold of it.

 

I've heard of it FC, just joking.

 

You should not destroy it, its history, too many people wanting to destroy history at the moment.
