      I suppose there's always the possibility that whatever was underneath was removed because it contained a swastika? :yikes:


      P.S. I've got something with a swastika on, a German WW2 medal looted from a casualty and given to me when a child. It was a memory of the past, but probably now time to dispose of destroy it to avoid the possibility of some nutter getting hold of it.
