    Good morning fine people,

Can anyone give me an idiot proof guide to butternut squash plants please?
Should I cut off the leaves when they become massive?
And what about these spindly finger shoot things? What are they? Can I cut them back before they take over my living room windowsill?

    Thank you kindly :)

      Hi

are you planting in the garden/balcony ? they wont produce any fruit in the house the " spindly finger shoot things? " are called tenderils they help the plant support it self as it grows as they will twine around twigs etc to climb ... so leave then on

I didn't have any trellis so my daughter and I went on a stick hunt and we made one! Very proud of her.
We have planted Bertie out and he's loving his trellis :spinning:
