This might just be a girl thing!!?? Yesterday I decided, that it was time to buy some new jeans for work/gardening/general pottering around in. I didn't want 'posh' jeans (diesel/Levis etc) I just wanted jeans! Blue jeans at that! You can have jeggins, of various colours including pink :help:! You can have crop jeans, bell bottom jeans, skinny jeans, tight jeans, loose jeans, slim fit jeans, hipster jeans jeans with the knees wripped out :scratch:you can have anything but straight cut jeans which are blue! Finally after trying on so many pairs I ended up in M&S so exhausted by this point I couldn't even climb the stairs so I used the escalator! Finally I managed to find a pair of jeans but have had to drop a couple of sizes because the sizes in M&S seem to be so generous?! Is it just me or does everyone have this problem ?

Good morning @Beckie76 its a modern thing we have to much choice in all material and food stuffs, did you know that "Henry Ford" founder of the ford cars and a multi millionaire wore only black suits because he was fed up with having so much choice, hence his model T ford you could only get in black.yours truly in the supermarket,I just wanted a simple loaf of bread,There are white loaves,Brown loaves, half brown and half white loaves, cut bread uncut bread, thick sliced, thin sliced, medium sliced,Bloomer loaves, cottage loaves,Piada flat breads, cheese and garlic bread,Cheese and onion bread, cheese and tomato bread,Plain Ciabatta,Soda bread,Irish stone baked bread,Wholemeal bread,Toastie bread,Multiseed Farmhouse bread,Granary bread,Tiger loaf,Farmhouse bread,Super seeded bread, all I wanted was an ordinary loaf of bread:gaah:

Tesco's have 42 pages of different types of bread,I am going in to the garden now to try and regain my sanity:heehee: Yes and I have exactly the same problem with jeans and everything else:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

          That's because ...

... no one (and I mean no one ) "bought" jeans for gardening/pottering around in back-in-the-day .... they used their old ones for that ;)

          Bless yer heart :pathd:

@Beckie76 No, it's not just you. I tend to use my old jeans for gardening, but I've found it nigh on impossible to find a pair of jeans that I like for normal everyday wear. I have found that FatFace do a good range. Still have to choose between slim/boot/straight etc, but there isn't a multitude of styles like some places.

I can't seem to buy jeans in my size, they're usally bigger sizes so i always have to ask is there any size 32's jeans and the answer is no just 34 upwards, no good for me :wallbanging:

I havn't bought a proper pair of jeans since i was at uni.

Jeans dont fit me as i have quite an ample bottom and thighs but a small waist so i end up with a big gaping back bit with jeans

i just wear topshop jeggings all the time for everything. Personally i think they are great for gardening in as well

I'm so pleased I had a moan on here about this! & I'm glad it's not just me!
@Joolz I love fat face clothes/jeans, they are my favourite at the moment, :dbgrtmb:, I did have a peep in there & they had a beautiful pair but I didn't want to spend that much. (I'm a bit mean when it comes to work/general clothes :rolleyespink:)
@'M' I generally use my old ones but they are all still in good condition, I have to wait until they are tatty /faded/well worn before they are down graded to my Scruffs! :heehee: My old general jeans had holes in the knees from gardening, thought they were a bit too scruffy even to garden in & I was getting dirty knees! ;)
@Dips, I agree leggins are good for everything & really comfy :dbgrtmb:
@Jiffy i can recommend M&S they had lots of choice when it came to size availibility. I always buy Kevs jeans from debenhams they have a lot of size avalibility too.
@wiseowl you do make me laugh! :heehee:

That sounds to posh for me :snork:

Would have to drive 30 miles just to get to a shop

would have to go there and then i could buy 34" jeans

@Beckie76 I've just rediscovered my love for FatFace. We have 3 stores in my local area, that I can go mad in. Hubbys wallet tends to get the shakes when I mention going there though. Last time we went, it needed rather a large whiskey to calm itself when we got home! :heehee:
