Buying seeds from abroad

I have just ordered 2 packets of seeds from ebay (not ebay.co.uk) and they are coming from Miami in Florida, has anyone else ordered seeds from abroad and should I expect any problems with customs? They aren't marijuana seeds they are Lithops!! Paying by paypal so that part won't be a problem. You just can't get the ones you want from the UK!!!

I buy seeds from the U.S. P and P Seed Giant Pumpkin, Competition Gardening, cantaloupe, bean, watermelon, squash, sunflower and more and don't have any problems. As long as they ship to the UK it should be fine.

 

I've bought seeds from the US in the past, without problem.

Not sure it would work the other way though.

 

I too have bought seeds from the US and Australia with no problems.

I have a Dyckia (bromeliad) just coming into flower now, bought as seed from the States four years ago.:thumb:

 

I, too have bought seeds from USA with no problems. I think the only countries that have restrictions on importing seed are USA, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand.

There are many more problems importing plants.

I have bought seeds from Ebay USA , no problems . Delivery was pretty good as well as the price. :thumb:
