      @JimmyB some of my seeds have made there way to the top of the soil is this normal?

      Have they germinated and pushing themselves to the surface.
      If so just sprinkle some more compost around them but don't completely bury them.

            OK - mine are not showing at all! But then - they are in a greenhouse. I am going to have to bring them inside, aren't I? Said I wasn't going to win!

            They need 'pricking out' rather than 'potting on'. Potting on is when they are bigger growing singly in their own pot. You need to pot on when you see roots coming out the bottom of the pot, yours are a long way off that stage yet. Pricking out is when you separate several small seedlings into trays or individual pots.

            Depends on how many plants you intend to grow in the long run. 12 cabbage plants is quite a lot, thinking about the space they would take up in a bed when they get mature. I would be inclined to thin them out by removing all but one per module. But if you want more than 12 then 'prick' out a few more.

            I only sow 5 or 6 seeds at a time to avoid this situation.
