can i compost????????

    Ive got my compost bin going nicely with plenty of grass cuttings, peelings, egg shells, cardboard etc but now my spuds are being pulled up can i put the top growth into the heap or will i get problems with them growing again? I dont put weeds in the heap or any whole spuds as they seem to grow really easily no matter what size they are.

    Thats what I do kev, provided the potato tops were healthy when you pulled them up there's no problem.
