Jay ..your shrub is without question a Symphoricarpos sp...no argument.
However, as I keep saying it is very different from the very first pic that Kevin posted.

There are several honeysuckles with tiny flowers eg

    Lonicera syringantha.

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=l...ChMIkYixhZDZxgIVw4_bCh3JqAnU&biw=1536&bih=728

    Lonicera crassifolia

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=lonicera+crassifolia+'Honey+Baby'&biw=1536&bih=728&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMI2JHHpI_ZxgIV6hTbCh3hbQCx#tbm=isch&q=lonicera+crassifolia+

    Lonicera albertii

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=l...ChMIofyD0I_ZxgIVyprbCh0bHA2U&biw=1536&bih=728

But so far the leaves are not a match to pic 1!

There are several winter flowering ones too.
    Lonicera standishii.

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=l...ChMI1Iav8JDZxgIV4QjbCh0H4QKw&biw=1536&bih=728

    Lonicera setifera.

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=l...ChMIlL6jhZHZxgIVohHbCh0BqQEt&biw=1536&bih=728

    Lonicera elisae

    https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=l...ChMIqOGIzJHZxgIVTFnbCh39SQJo&biw=1536&bih=728

    etc etc.

In our old garden we grew many different Lonicera sp...shrubby, creepers, climbers.
Many ordinary garden centres will probably never have seen or hear of some of the above.
There are lots more I may not have come across!

It's so difficult as the bush resembles a lot of the ones stated already ... I remember my old bush threw of shoots all over the place ..it would grow up under the decking and you could not snap the branches on the young off shoots as it was just to hard ...it would just twist or hurt your hand if you tried ... the mature side of the bush was very woody and untidy

Right I have just bought a snowberry bush the one in the pic attached to this ...the flowers look exactly the same as the ones in my original pic in may at the beginning of this thread ...however the leaves are different and now seeing it with the berries on my bush never ever had them even if it was pruned back it was always late Sept Oct time and these berries are on the plant now ...so I think we can safely discount a snowberry bush

    Excellent.
You have bought a new shrub which is correctly named.

However,we haven't really made much progress on the original shrub which started 65 posts ago and 65 days ago!

    Ever hopeful.

        Humble pie time!
        Sorry everyone.
        Grovel, grovel!

Your new pics of the flower buds looks totally different from the first one you posted 71 posts ago, which showed single buds in pairs... one on either side of the twig

Your new pic very clearly shows clustered flowers and look exactly like Symphoricarpus sp rather than Lonicera sp.

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symphoricarpos

It may be a different species of Symphoricarpos, rather than Symphoricarpos albus which is shown in Sheals excellent pic.

Looks like I need to go back to basics and check the other sp out.

It looks like the flowers on my new snowberry shrub and even the branches look similar but there has never ever ever never ever never ever been white berries or any berries on it in over 10 years and it was a massive bush ... as long and big as a 6x6 fence panel

There's a possibility it doesn't produce berries Kevin but it's worth keeping an eye on the flowers to see what happens. There is also a plant that produces pink berries. :)
