As a relative newbie to lawn care I have found the advice on this forum fantastic.

Also The Lawnsmith has some great advice (no affiliation, I just find it has good UK-centric advice. So many sites are US-based and advice on maintaining Kentucky Blue Grass in 100 degree temperatures is no use to me in rainy High Wycombe!)

    Hello @Liz the pot

Thanks for the reply and the information.

So, if I have things right, I think I will go with a product without Iron to prevent staining, a Liquid Feed and a Sprayer.

    Does that sound right?

Will going with a product without Iron cause any issues?

Regarding the Sprayer, what kind would be best for my small lawn?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

Iron is good, while it greens up the grass it helps to toughen the grass plant. Just need some care but a natural source of iron is found in seaweed products. I just find that seaweed needs additional help.
