Got the first flower spikes of the year appearing on my altensteinii and musifolia, they should flower before any dramatic change in weather, especially given the forecast is looking good :)

Also got Cleopatra, Pretoria an unnamed hybrid and Australia still flowering after several weeks :)

I stupidly bought a 'Cleopatra' tuber at Wyevale last Spring, it wasn't Cleo (I bet none of them were) and it as virused so it was destroyed. If anyone reckons they might have a Cleo tuber, pm me somtime and and I'll swap for a Canna Tropicanna Black tuber.

Well its getting late in the year now but my Canna musifolia has just started flowering, I much prefer the muted tones of this and my Altensteinii which should soon follow rather than the bright and showy hybrids :)

The seed for this came from @joolz68 but the label went walkies.

Late flowering, and even then only if I bring it indoors. Tallish at 120cm...................

                Really nice plain green leaves...................
