Depends on the time of year and how big the plants are but sold these at £10 for three. They still have plenty of chillies on them and are still flowering. We didn't plant these ones but they self seeded in the propagator. When the propagator gets full with plants they drop some chillies in between the pots and they seed in the sand and gravel base. When the planted ones get sold we discover the self seeded ones and pot them up.

We are trying to sell most of the remaining ones as our new greenhouse won't be erected for another month so they are in a cold frame. Some people just buy them as indoor pot plants as they tend to be small but with attractive fruit and will continue to fruit indoors for at least another three months.

Picked the last sweet peppers yesterday, the latest I've ever managed, even though it has got below zero in the greenhouse most plants still looked healthy. I cut them all down and composted them

Sounds like a good deal, especially since you pay the best part of £1 for 3 chillis in the supermarket!

Last year I had a load of small chillies that I left on the shelf over a radiator and forgot about for several months. They dried out beautifully.
