    I might get mine sown tomorrow; just the two varieties - cayenne and lemon drop

    I love Lemon Drop but not cayenne which seems to be just hot with no dimension. I have successfully over-wintered chillies in the polytunnel here but not when we've had frosts and this year a -8C did serious damage to one of my citrus plants in there.

    My heated propagators have died and Mothers' Day prezzie will be too late so I've ordered a few chilli plants from a supplier I trust. They'll be delivered in April. Assuming they do well I shall consider keeping them as houseplants next winter.

      I'll confess - cayenne seed were leftovers from who knows when, and the lemon drop were ordered by my wife until I pointed out they were chilli peppers not sweet :heehee:. Am looking forward to trying them
