    Following on from the Gardeners World discussion. Do you remember the series that Christine Walkden ran on television. I loved her simple, laid back way of gardening which now and again involved her neighbours. It was great viewing and I looked forward to each episode.

    Does anyone know what she's up to now?

    Yes, I too liked Christine's approach to gardening and how down to earth she was. It used to make me chuckle when she was with her old friend and neighbour and going round to help him out.
    I'm hoping she's going to come back and do some more TV programs.

    She lives not far from us.

    I understand that she does the circuit giving talks. She is an excellent speaker with a good sense of humour. She gave a 40 minutes talk to the local U3A the other month and she was very interesting. :dbgrtmb:
