Solved Clematis id if possible - Clematis Armandii (Apple Blossom)

    I did a bit of a hatchet job on this one late last summer and it has bloomed for the first time since I moved here. The flowers emerge in clusters..................

      I think it's one of the Armandii varieties, looks in good condition if its flowered, it will put on new growth and foliage ghis year

        Armandii, I have one flowering now but the leaves are looking tatty like that
        lovely perfume tho.

          Sorry for the delay in replying, but I've only just tripped over this Thread. Well, it's obviously an evergreen, and a Armandii variety. Having looked at the shape of the petals I would lean towards it being "Apple Blossom" rather than "Snowdrift":thumbsup::coffee: Either way, it's a great Clematis and will cover a large area if not pruned.:snork:
