I shouldn't have bothered, but a Google via Wikipedia enlightened me:

"Icke believes that the universe is made up of "vibrational" energy and consists of an infinite number of dimensions that share the same space.[17][10][18] He believes that an inter-dimensional race of reptilian beings called the Archons (or Anunnaki) have hijacked the earth and that a genetically modified human–Archon hybrid race of shape-shifting reptilians, also known as the "Babylonian Brotherhood", the Illuminati, or the 'elite', manipulate global events to keep humans in constant fear so the Archons can feed off the 'negative energy' this creates.[17][19][20] He claims many prominent figures belong to the Babylonian Brotherhood and are propelling humanity toward an Orwellian global fascist state, or New World Order, a post-truth era where freedom of speech is ended.[11][17][21][22] Icke believes that the only way this 'Archontic' influence can be defeated is if people wake up to "the truth" and fill their hearts with love"

That's a shame @Scrungee . We are lucky that our retailers are being smart about how to handle the 2 meter spread. Security lets one out and when they've cleared the entrance are out in the parking lot, another goes in. There are lines clearly marked on the sidewalks in front of the store indicating appropriate spacing. And everybody is pretty good at synchronized pointing to show newcomers where the end of the line is!

I think this virus is doing something to my hearing. I've been watching updates and many of the politicians have their lips moving in rapid motion but all I hear is, Blah, blah, blah :rolleyespink: I don't know how our PM can make such long winded speeches or answers to questions without having revealed a single fact  Is there a secret course they take to learn this?

Our provincial Premier is shooting straight from the hip. He's saying he's got the test kits and will refuse to follow the feds restrictions on who gets them. He is saying that on top of suspicion of cases, they will test every care worker, nurse, doctor, front line worker, resident of old folks homes, ambulance, police, etc etc and it is starting now. Our province was told 3k a day, our Premier said nope, minimum 13k a day. This guy is not putting up with useless red tape. He's the same guy who gave the municipalities the power to ticket Covidiots. Good man! I'll vote for him again next election. :)

Ventured out to ASDA today - massive queue snaking around the building - so did a u turn and went to the smaller local shops in the town next to us. Fewer people, less risk, less stress, less time spent shopping - they had everything we needed - and parking is free at the moment. We did have to walk between the shops - so not as convenient as the Morrisons of this world.

After all this is over - we'll be continuing to shop locally.

I went for an early wrinklies shop today and Sainsbury’s organisation was excellent. In the queue people were very well spaced apart and only a few allowed in store at a time. You couldn't get near the entrance as it was blocked off by barriers with people queuing behind the barriers. The queue went around the outside of the car park and there were signs all the way round saying to keep at least two metres apart and not to have more than one person doing the shopping. When I got near the entrance the two guards were standing back but not allowing more than one person to shop together. There were husbands and wives together and one was made to leave the queue and wait elsewhere. There were separate doors for going in and coming out.

Not once did anyone try to shop near me (maybe it's because I haven't washed for a week) and there were continuous messages over the Tannoy (a term that is showing my age) about 'keeping your distance or be removed from the store'. They also had staff walking round with worktops on saying that they were monitoring distance.

          Well done Sainsbury's :blue thumb:

Our queue at Sainsbury's was quite long but not too many people in it as most of us were at least three metres apart. My place in the queue was back past two sides of the store (it's a big store) and down one side of the car park. From the time they opened until the time I entered the store was 12 minutes. At no time did the store look busy and I didn't have to avoid anyone - except when crossing aisles when someone wanted to come out.

Doesn't he think that if he is saying all this that the Archons (who he says are running and manipulating the world) would do something about him?

My longest wait in the car park queue out int he fresh air enjoying my surroundings has been around 10 minutes ...

... and as a consequence of low numbers of people in the store 0 minutes queue for the till.

Normal queue for the till = 10 minutes :)

They have had screens erected along the checkouts in the Morrisons where I go for almost 3 weeks now, but the staff only wear masks if they want to, lets face it, we often use dust masks at work, and talking through one is like chewing a wet blanket, to wear one all day is a nightmare.

I noticed on the news tonight they had a bit about how Wuhan was coming out of a 3 month lockdown.
They were showing residents giving us advice on how to get through it.

I assume at some point the rest of the World will be giving them advice on how NOT to start a pandemic.

I've been looking at the 'daily new deaths' data on CV19 and perhaps, maybe, we might be peaking... I'm hopeful at any rate but a long downward curve to follow still
