    Agreed. Some EH officers are good at inspecting and others aren't. I always ask to see the kitchens in restaurants that I eat at :blue thumb:. Never been refused yet. :)

          The reason I asked was to see what other peoples opinion and definition was as well as the official definition because, back in May, it was proposed at a meeting to give certain areas within the Buildings where I work the "Covid Secure" designation.
          But, when one of the Senior Medical Staff pointed out that, in fact, there was no area within the Buildings, even with restricted entrance, that could be called "Covid Secure" with 100% confidence and that the label could lead to over confidence and inevitable drops in caution we decided not to use that designation.:dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:

              You'd need to get a job or educational course near the caravan (in a Tier 3 Area) to have a legitimate reason to visit (or stay there).

              You can pass through Tier 3 Area(s) on your way to a non-Tier 3 Area, such as Tenerife :dbgrtmb:

                  @Fat Controller, you and me both. I can't justify the expense of eating at restautantsvery often. Althougn when my local was reduced to take out only, I ordered two meals for pick up every week to lend some support to their bottom line.

                  Our provincial numbers jumped dramatically in the last few days. My neighbouring district is one of the worst in their northern section which is where the Toronto International airpot is and keeps bringing visitors every day who are positive plus the area surrounding the Airport has a very large cluster of temples that recently broke rules so as to attend Diwali celebrations. CCPP definitely loves rule breakers and there's plenty of those in every heavily populated area.

                  A restaurant in Toronto broke rules over these past few days and the owner has been arrested, fined and his place locked up. Within 9 hours a go fund me page set up by his friends and to raise money for his defence had already received $150K which is about £100K.

                        We don't realise until we read something like this how much of a mental and physical strain it is on our nursing staff coping with the pandemic. The long shifts with short breaks undoubtedly must bring many of them to breaking point. What would we do without them, they are amazing people!

                          The NHS Staff have been amazing even before the Pandemic but I guess, at times, they were taken for granted because they were, and are, always there for us.
                          The Hospital Staff in the US are in a worse state as they are being overwhelmed and in a lot of the States are short on PPE, Staff, and beds. One of the Republican Governors has stopped the Mayors of the Towns from mandating the wearing of masks, even though they have over a Million cases in that State and record deaths, in the belief of Herd Immunity which, unfortunately, if there is such a thing, only lasts a few months and is not a permanent thing which is why the vaccinations are needed. But the Governor seems to think the theory is worth the record deaths.
