I'd recommend you get a handbag, just one...more than one and you spend forever wondering which one your essential paperwork is in :roflol:

      Sounds logical :blue thumb:

I couldn't really call mine a 'card' as it's more like a piece of paper. :noidea:

Mentioning driving licences, my father had a licence but never took his test! When he started driving (at the end of WWI) they hadn't yet brought in the test :old:

Same with my Dad, one little old Aunt had a driving licence for all types of vehicles up to HGVs but she never sat a test nor sat in the driving seat of any vehicle.

Going further off topic, my daughter's Russian friend got a driving licence because of family connections, she never had a test and also got an International Driving License! Be careful on the roads not every driver here has UK training and testing.

I've just been clipped by a wing mirror this morning when out for a walk (narrow lane and drivers won't and don't slow down), so english driver's just as bad if not worse

That is terrible! I toyed with the idea of renting a vehicle during my stay there and I am glad I didn't book that arrangement. As soon as I set foot in a car, as a passenger, I realized driving on the opposite side from what I am used to was frightening and I didn't even have the steering wheel! I did get my international licence before coming and that document turned out to be useless. I could not translate the road signs and markings so would have been a danger to everyone around me

Our province still has 50,000 doses of A-Z and they are all wringing their hands about what to do with them since it has been deemed as risky. Why the heck wouldn't they use those for second doses for those who've already had one A-Z and suffered no side effects!

I first got my license in South Carolina and then Alabama as you may know Lori you have to have a new license for each State you move to in the US. I had no problem when I moved to England swapping sides ... then it was a doddle moving here as it's the same as the US.

We don't have many narrow roads here but on those few, at least, being left hand drive vehicle and having very low speed limits in them, , we can high five the fellow going the other direction!

I knew someone that was going to our Glen Abby golf course here in Oakville to pick up her husband after a company tournament. She'd never been there before and was trying to drive directly to the clubhouse and was very nervous about the very narrow roadway. Then she got was chased down and turned around because she was driving ner car along one of the golf cart paths. :loll:

Maybe they were trying too hard to be non-racist as most of those households were ethnically non Caucasian - according to the report on the TV.
