Well mine usually drop their leaves when I bring in but soon produces new vigorous growth.. I save all the leaf drops then for cooking.. I have had mine a few years now but behaves the same each year.!

I think because it is growing sideways, try growing it upwards, it might do better..:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Just a bit of garden silly banter @MaLiorzh .. Well I can only add
that your compost your plant is in looks quite damp, @MaLiorzh let it dry out well between feeds and watering.. So that the top couple of inches are dry while indoors. ( most of the pot I know).. Mine only gets a small amount of water indoors at this time of year maybe once a fortnight as they don’t like cold wet roots... They are quit tough though and can come back from near dead ok, so don’t give up on it yet..

Thank's yet again Marely Farley. From an exchange on a blog I've gathered that the temperature should be maintained around 21°C or above. In order to achieve this I've created a mini cloche from an old transparent plastic water bottle with the bottom cut off. Equally, the plant's going into my bedroom where we keep the temperature a little higher - stop that sniggering please!

It only proves compost is warmer than green house at this time :) ..actually lot of Indians overwinter curry leaf in the house and give religious care/spot as its in use everyday cooking . it also looks like nice house plant too as it gets bigger.
having little patience , I get a kilo of curry leaves from India and freeze :)

Sounds like you are on the right path now then @MRishi... My lounge window where mine overwinters is east facing sohas the morning sun.. The room is warm and it isn’t near a radiator or anything and seems quite happy... I hope yours will pick up a bit now too if you are putting it in a warmer atmosphere. Good luck and let us know how it gets on...
